October 27, 2016 – Douglas, AZ

Today we traveled three miles from Douglas to plant the memorial cross for ORALIA SOTO MADRIGAL, age 46, who was found on December 10, 2004, less than a mile from the border wall.  It is so hard to understand why Oralia had to die so close to a town where thousands of people live.

This morning we were accompanied by 2 professors and 2 students from Cochise College.  May these unnecessary deaths move our youth to work for needed immigration reform.
